  • WHAT DOES AN AUTO DETAILER DO?

    A Car Detailers primary purpose is to provide automotive interior and exterior cleaning services that meet client specifications. We handle everything from a simple wash and vacuum to more intensive cleaning jobs, including hand washing vehicles, steaming and deodorizing interiors, and applying waxes, or ceramic coatings to cars. Most importantly, an auto Detailer, like myself, has the primary goal of selling you back your time. Your time is your most valuable possession and is better spent with your friends, family, or even your hobbies while knowing your vehicle is being properly taken care of.

  • WHAT'S THE ADVANTAGE OF HAVING YOUR CAR DETAILED BY A DETAILER RATHER THAN TAKING IT TO A CAR WASH LIKE JOE'S CAR WASH, FOR EXAMPLE?

    Well I cant speak about the Employees at Joe's Specifically, but it is mostly the care for your vehicle and your over all experience with the service. Most people who work at a car wash are there just for a job that will hire anyone. A car wash typically is just after a high volume of quick in and out sales. At a detail shop, the detailers are constantly trying to learn and grow their knowledge about proper car care, and typically a details shops bottom tier packages are in line with most car washes top tier packages.

  • ARE YOU A MOBILE DETAILER OR DO PEOPLE NEED TO COME TO YOU?

    We are mostly Home Shop Based, but we are occasionally mobile depending on the job being done. The reason for this is the quality of work we can provide at our home shop is higher than when we are mobile. This is due to having full access to all of our tools and products.

  • WHAT DO YOU CHARGE OR HOW DO CHARGE...BY THE SIZE OF THE VEHICLE, HOW DIRTY THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR ARE?

    Our prices depend on the size of the vehicle, the condition of the vehicle and the task we are performing to your vehicle. Over time we have developed techniques that preserves the condition of your vehicles interior and exterior as long as possible. We have services starting at only $60 for a wash and go up into the thousands. We are currently the only Certified SB3 Coatings installer in the Wichita area. To our knowledge, we are the only detail shop that reports all services to CarFax.

  • HOW LONG WILL IS TAKE TO INSTALL A CERAMIC COATING?

    2-4 days depending on what coating is being installed and the level of correction being done.

  • WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A 1, 2, 3, 5 AND 7 YEAR COATING?

    Hardness and Life Expectancy of the coating. The time it takes to install and cure is different as well with each.

  • WHAT'S A CERAMIC COATING?

    A Ceramic Coating (such as SB3 Trinity, Alpha, Omega and Solo) is a liquid polymer that is applied by hand to the exterior of a vehicle. The coating chemically bonds with the vehicle's factory paint, creating a layer of semi-permanent protection. A Ceramic Coating is a premium wax alternative. bond with a vehicle's paint, meaning that it does not wash away or break down and does not require repeated application every few months.

  • HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY CERAMIC COATING?

    The simple answer is washing by hand with a dedicated car wash soap (like SB3 Soap) and using a dedicated detail spray (like SB3 Maintain) to aid in the drying process.

  • DOES A COATING PREVENT SCRATCHES/ROCK CHIPS AND WATER SPOTS?

    The simple answer is NO. While it does help to reduce the chances of them happening, a coating of any kind is not indestructible. Although, the coating will greatly reduce the damage and you would much rather the damage be don't to the coating that can easily be replaced, instead of the paint that is extremely costly to replace.

  • WILL A COATING LAST AS LONG AS YOU CLAIM?

    Yes, while there are several Variables that can reduce the life of the coating, (Improper wash technique is the main one), with proper care, you could see Protection for even longer than the coating is meant to last.

  • HOW MUCH DOES A DETAIL COST?

    Our starting price for a detail is $150 for a Sedan, this doesn't include any specials that may be going on.

  • HOW MUCH TO BUFF AND WAX?

    Starting price for a Buff and Wax is $250 and includes a 6 Month Paint Sealant that for superior Protection.

  • HOW MUCH DOES A CERAMIC COATING COST?

    There are several factors that can affect the cost of a ceramic coating. The condition of the vehicle is the biggest, but also the desired results is a factor as well. The starting price of our most popular 5 year coating is $1000 while our 1 year coating has a starting price of $400

  • WHY DO I NEED TO GET MY VEHICLE DETAILED?

    Truthfully speaking, you don't have to take it to get detailed, as you are most likely capable of doing the service. Now the benefits of taking your vehicle to a reputable Detailer is Your Time. Think about the level of clean I will get your vehicle to and how long it would take you to get it to that same level of clean. It's that time we are selling back to you, to spend with your family, friends or however you wish. By entrusting a reputable Detailer to service your vehicle, you are removing the burden of having to purchase all the equipment to properly maintain your vehicle and have a place to keep it all, let alone know how and when to use it.

  • HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR AN INTERIOR CLEAN?

    On average, an Interior Deep Clean Detail takes 4-5 hours, although it could take longer to achieve the results being sought after depending on the vehicles size and condition.

  • HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CONSIDER AN AUTO DETAIL?

    A Daily Driver should be washed and vacuumed at least once a month, and have the interior deep cleaned once a year, at least twice a year if you have kids in the car as well. A weekend only car may only need a wash and vacuum once a month and an Interior Deep Clean only as needed. It all depends on the vehicles use and the level of cleanliness you want to keep it at.
